In the latest and greatest gaming world, there is truly no offense as you get to enjoy the comfort of your own home, immersed in a gaming experience that boasts 8k pixels and immersive audio. The luxuries of food and warmth are unmatched and cannot be traded for anything more. Just imagine the comfort of gripping a joystick and the serenity it brings. Instead of competing against a machine, you have the opportunity to connect and compete globally, staying connected and engaging in co-playing or whatever the latest term is (let me confirm with my younger brother).  Besides your parents  your parents checking on you every 10 minutes or your little sister vying for your attention to play, while you skip meals and only grab a quick bite during moments of support. 

For me, this represents the most significant improvement arcade gaming has made in the last decade or so. The introduction of stunning graphics alone sets you up for an extraordinary experience!

But what about 

those of us who were limited to a single dimension, standing in line to either watch or play (that is, if you had the 5 Bob necessary to start)? "Bob" was a colloquial term for a shilling, and I'm not sure how it's equivalent to 50 now. These were the 50-cent coins of the past. Yeah, we/I no longer see those coins, and even the rapper has gone digital, finding success in the film industry. The pressure to play while the entire shop watched, knowing all the difficult stages and waiting for you to conquer the most challenging spots or levels. That was the true gaming challenge. 

Forget about Pac-Man's 256 stages, or reaching Stage 8 in Contra, or battling it out with M. Bison. In fact, the highest-ranking member of Street Fighter was Akuma! Tag me if you managed to reach that far!

It is of my opinion that the old way created and natured future leaders. Patience, consitancy, skill, mental readines , budgeting allowed 

 Today, we stand as the most strategic and powerful leaders in the gaming world, witnessing the incredible evolution of technology and the limitless possibilities it brings. No offense to the past, but we have certainly come a long way.
